Could this be the next Kowalski Special?

These are some of the photos taken when I got the vehicle.   It was Non-Op since 1991, the windows were rolled down for who knows how long.   I even found a dead rat in the glovebox.

This is what Non-op looks like
No gas cap, rear bumper, or valance... windows down since????? Dead rat anyone??
The 318 was long past tired, even the rats were no longer afraid of it. Did you catch the rattle can engine bay black paint??? Fortunately this was just dried mud and not rust...
A lot of hard work, parts cleaning, and body work and the long reassemble process begins...
note how high the front wheel well is with out the motor. Now the ride height with 318 torsion bars and an iron head 440 makes the stance a little more presentable.
All suspension parts and K-member were stripped bare and refinished. Front sway bar is a 1" Addco Unit.
The area behind the grille was painted to duplicate the factory look. The 440 is in place. A friend helped me replace the badly botched underhood wiring.
This bondo filled tail light panel was replaced with.... This panel bought from a CCM Club member...
Come back soon for photos of the finish vehicle...
