Mark Perry

Mark bought his ’71 Challenger convertible new in 1971, paying for it with proceeds from his informal home neighborhood lawn care business - mowing and trimming 6 or 7 lawns a week. “My Dad paid my college expenses, which included driving to and from. So he offered me 10 cents a mile - and I made money on the deal! From day 3 it was no longer stock. I wanted it my way and started upgrading immediately. First it got the seat belt warning buzzer ripped out. Pretty soon a bigger engine, and so on.”
